METstar Elite Dance Company
offers classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Broadway
Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Pom, Cheer and Tumbling.
We offer classes for all levels of dance from beginners to advanced.
Our Company Program involves an intense training schedule for
competitive dance.
Our goal is to provide a
safe, fun, structured environment. We believe the positive motivation
and exceptional quality of dance we provide develops a strong foundation
from which to build confidence and positive self esteem. We take
our instruction seriously and strive to provide you with top quality
instruction you deserve and expect.
Sara Thompson, the Director
has over 20 years of dance experience as a performer, high school and
college dance team coach, choreographer, and as a UDA / ESPN national
championship judge.
The Dance Staff at METstar consists of studio
trained dancers,collegiate national championship dancers, dance team
coaches and choreographers, former NBA Washington Wizard Dancers and
NFL Washington Redskin Cheerleaders.
METstar Elite classes begin
in September and end in June with a recital. Summer dance classes
and programs are also offered.
